The Muskokas in Northern Ontario is a beautiful fishing area.
Flying or driving would depend on many factors;
Where are you coming from?
How much time do you have?
Personal preference of all parties involved?

The French River is always a good choice. I’ve been fishing there for more than 20 years. Lots of Smallmouth, Musky, and Pike. Some walleye, but the walleye fishing’s better in alot of places.

I bounced your question off a friend of mine who lives and fishes in Ontario.
Here is what he had to say, “My best suggestion is to pick up an Ontario Recreational Fishing Regulations Summary book. It has all the lakes and some of the best spots listed from Ontario best. I strongly suggest not to travel blindfolded and do some research before at home from a computer with many web sites that are featuring the water in they area that you are going to fish in. Ontario is a huge province with many lakes and rivers.”
