Poem - Pictures For You

From the canoe, Poems No Comments »

I saw a plane fly across the moon
The sky was pale blue as the plane flew
The moon stood still as if to say
Hello plane going my way

And the wind was brisk no need to paddle
My canoe and I were easy to handle
The river flowed in our direction
As if to say, come along tonights perfection

So we clicked at this and clicked at that
My digital camera and I, what an act
The evening displayed in all its splendour
As if to say you’re welcome to take my picture

Then the stars began to twinkle
And rhymes to mind I did un-wrinkle
While all the sky’s lights shone completely
As if to say, God parked us so neatly

So these few pics I took for you
My dearest, my love, my friend so true
Enjoy for now what I did see
And just say when together we can be :_]

Poetry and words of Rhyme

Poems No Comments »

Writing poems and words of rhyme is something I enjoy creating often.  Of course like anyone, I too need inspiration to write and I frequently get that inspiration when out in the canoe fishing.

Then having someone special to write that poetry for makes the writing more enjoyable, and I must confess that I do have that someone special tucked away safely from all predators.

So in this category I thought what better than to include some of the rhyming words and phrases I penned, just in case there was another angling poetry lover out there in cyberworld.

Happy writing and fishing!
